Marion graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with an Honours Degree in Painting in 2015. Since then, she has worked out of her studio at the Fire Station Creative in Dunfermline where she had her first solo show in October 2019.

She is a professional member of Visual Arts Scotland. Her work has been shown in the annual exhibitions of the Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, Society of Scottish Artists and Visual Arts Scotland, as well as other group exhibitions around Scotland.

'I find immense satisfaction in abstract art, in its direct and pure exploration of form, line and colour. My own abstraction derives in part from looking at the world around me and is rooted in my interest in buildings and architecture, especially mid-20th century design and the aesthetic of Brutalist architecture. I like the geometry and symmetry, the purity of form and materials of Brutalist buildings'.
